Monday, May 18: Here are the questions I presented to think about for the first peer review:
  • Does the writer address an audience of folks in the class-- that is, fellow students and the teacher?
  • Does the writer explain how they came to their topic?
  • Does the writer explain what progress they have made so far?
  • Does the writer draw from examples in the exercises they have done so far?
  • What's the one thing you would recommend that the writer change about their topic?

Wednesday, May 13: Start without me!! I've gotten delayed by a weirdly long appointment, so I am not going to get to class today until about 2 pm or so. Sorry about that. In the mean-time though, do keep working through peer review on the topic proposals and on the critique assignments. I'll be doing the same on the class wiki!

For Monday, May May 11: We will meet in Room 110 of Halle Library!! So go there and not here!!

Monday, May 4: The first day of class! Which means that we haven't had time for anything new to happen-- or, another way of looking at it is it's all new....

Hey medical people... Any Ideas for thesis's Just wondering what some of you came up with?/ Also I am thinking "Depression is often times related to or undiagnosed substance abuse issues" What do you think? Class mates?
